This RevainBasics Mini DisplayPort is perfect for connecting your MacBook to your TV or monitor. It's as easy as plug and play. I've been using this for a few months now and the quality is still there with no cable issues. The cable itself is very strong and can withstand slight bends. I use mine to connect to my TV so I can stream some items from my computer. I have a 6ft cord and it's enough to sit on the couch and control my computer. I think it's never a bad idea to get something longer as you can just wrap it up a bit if you don't need the full length. The connection to the computer works great, although the DisplayPort side can feel a bit clunky. I had no problems with that. If I had one complaint it would be on the DisplayPort side, it doesn't show which side it should be on top. On one side is the DisplayPort icon and on the other side is RevainBasics. That seems a bit confusing. My last cable broke after a few months and was flimsy so I'm very happy with this cable. All in all a really solid 5 star product that does what it's supposed to do.
