Great docking station X1 Carbon!
This docking station is interesting because I've always used docking stations where I had to put my laptop and snap it into place. This is simply connected to a laptop. Which way is better? It all depends on what you get used to. I personally like the plugin better because I like the smaller form factor and superior extension. Because the X1 Carbon is small and thin, there's no room for bulky things like a big hard drive, Blu-ray, etc. It's all connected to a docking station, and I have an external monitor with a display port. . I will probably add a second external monitor later this year. USB3 connectors are convenient and very fast. I highly recommend it.
