Review on ☔ Totes Compact Foldable Water-Resistant Umbrella by Angela Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

An almost perfect mini umbrella, especially for children, which does not have to be opened and closed.

I love folding umbrellas and was looking for a small, compact umbrella for my youngest niece to carry in the side pocket of her backpack when she goes to school so she has it when she needs him. without taking up too much space. The size and compactness of this umbrella is perfect for this purpose. Although it's small, it does have some weight, so I'm not sure I'll be carrying it in my purse all the time. I love the design and the open size is perfect for a child or person. I felt it was a little difficult to snap into place so it stays open. It doesn't have the latching I'm used to, which is both good and bad. Thanks to the locking mechanism with which this umbrella is equipped, you cannot pinch your fingers when opening and closing, since this part is closed with a plastic ring. I like this part because I was afraid of it with a younger kid. The downside is that I find it harder to snap into place and this umbrella doesn't open automatically at the touch of a button. If this umbrella had such a feature, it would be close to perfect. Hopefully my 9 year old learns to open it up and put it on fairly easily. Removal is very easy and I like that I can't pinch my fingertips. All in all a great umbrella that could have been a little better if you could open it with the push of a button. An "impervious" coating makes it much better and dries faster. I particularly like the fact that there is a lifetime guarantee. What I don't like is made in China :(
