Review on 📷 LRTimelapse PRO Timer 3 Intervalometer: Optimized for Time Lapse and Astro Photography by Jeff Dabney

First off, the LRT Pro Timer 3 is an intervalometer that just works and gives you lots of features and flexibility as its description states. It's really easy and intuitive to use and manage, as evidenced by the good documentation, the LRTimelapse forum, and Günther Wegner, the founder of LRTimelapse. When using the Fuji X-T3, I quickly realized that the built-in time-lapse mode had a few drawbacks when considering time-lapse photography: Important information such as histogram and exposure settings are not displayed when using the built-in functions. This is certainly an issue when shooting in changing light conditions, such as in B. at sunsets, transitions from day to night (Holy Grail), etc. Intervals can only be set in full second intervals and at least one second. No ramp interval. FunctionalityLRT Pro Timer 3 offers all these features and more. Critical parameters (autofocus time, shutter release time, etc.) can be adjusted as needed to suit the needs of your particular camera. The camera's USB-C port is still available for other uses, such as external power for wide shots. Yes, the LRT Pro Timer is quite an expensive product, but it definitely offers functionality, ease of use, and support. I miss but maybe it's just me, it's a small (plastic) box for storing and transporting the LRT Pro Timer 3 considering its price and value. Also, but then again, it's just me, I don't usually use the LRT Pro Timer. 3 attaches to the camera's hot shoe with a longer cable, I just put it in my bag next to the camera/tripod. This way I avoid possible camera movement and bumps when adjusting values like interval ramp. All in all a great little device, worth the investment for me and definitely recommended.
