My husband and I have very different tastes in interior design. So when it came time to buy a house, I knew we could compete on the decor. Not this lamp. we both love it It looks great, offers a good amount of light and we appreciate that the button allows us to (simply) step on it to turn it on and off. We liked it so much that we bought a second one right away. Husband says it was a bit of a hassle to assemble, but there's a reason he doesn't assemble furniture. If it doesn't connect easily, it's none of his business. But in the end he decided the minor inconvenience of having to assemble everything was worth it. If we decide we need more lamps, we will definitely get more of them.
