Game changer for cutting fabric

I got this mat along with a rotary cutter for cutting multiple layers of fabric. I have been sewing for 50+ years and wish I would have gotten this years ago. It's always out in my sewing room. And I also take it to other locations if I think I will be doing any crafting. It really saves the underneath surface.Tip: Spring for the large size. You won't be sorry when you aren't having to constantly move your work.

Pros

Cutting patterns has become so much easier since using this mat alone with my rotary cutter

Cons

This item is good yet very heavy in weight! Too heavy for me to tote around for use in quilt classes.

....and that is a good thing since the odor of the Olfa mats have reeked! This mat is thicker, nonglare surface, and smells like rubber should smell. It doesn''t have as many measurement markings as the Olfa, but that will be gotten used to. Costs less than Olfa, too. I''d recommend this mat.
