Fantastic camper shower head! In the summer of 2018 we bought a new fifth wheel and our shower didn't work at all. Our previous trailer could get 6 to 8 minutes from the hot water tank, which was long enough to be happy with, but the new trailer's hot water lasted about 4 minutes at best. I was very disappointed as I just assumed the fancy new trailer would make even better use of hot water than our old trailer. I decided something needed to be done and started to figure out why things were so bad. I immediately felt that the shower head needed a lot of pressure to get a stream of water good enough for a shower. In fact, we turned the hot and cold water faucets almost all the way on so the shower head pressure was good enough. I checked a few things on the camper and our pressure regulator but figured it must be the shower head that came with our new camper. I started looking for a replacement nozzle that could extend our hot water with less pressure. We had just spent all our money on this camper so I needed a new head that was cheap but good enough to last a while. I searched the internet for a month, going through all the heads suggested and finally came across this PIH head in an article. I decided that at this price I could try it without too much fear of failure, so I ordered it. So glad I did! Includes hose, wall hose clamp, adjustable wall mount and shower head. The color of the PIH head we sent matches the cream/almond color of our camper shower very well. I simply screwed a new head onto our existing shower hose and that's it. I can put a second wall mount a little higher in the shower to better guide my head, but it works great with the standard mount that most RVs I've seen originally installed. When we first turned it on, I knew our souls would be improved. I turned on the faucet at a lower pressure than we've ever used before, pulled up on the shower rod, and a jet of water hit the opposite side of our 40-inch shower, causing the water to splash all over the tub. The old shower head barely reached the middle of the shower with full pressure. I cleaned the bathroom and turned the pressure down, down and went inside. I left the pressure a little lower than normal but still enough to wash my hair and mist my head, even holding my head where the water would shoot. straight up. I went ahead and washed my face fairly quickly, still expecting the worst, and then waited for the hot water to run out. I ended up taking a 13 minute hot shower in the RV that used to only take 4 minutes. An amazing difference for us, we kept the shower in our new motorhome. There is a pause setting and 2 water jet settings. In my opinion the best water setup is one that utilizes the large center holes of the head. This setting pulses slightly when spraying and the jets of water are quite thick, making the water hotter after it leaves the head. The pulsing is actually not a massage at all, it is such a light pulse that you hardly notice it. The second setting uses a few tiny holes around the outside of the head and creates much smaller streams of water. The many tiny rivulets that come out of my head cool faster and feel like they're putting less pressure on me, but I'm sure there are people who will enjoy this setting more, it's just not for me. Setting all the way to the right - a pause and a complete shutdown of the water. Some heads drip a little during the break so as not to accumulate cold or hot water in the line, but it doesn't, it completely blocks the flow. We never actually use the pause function on any of our heads, so I can't say which is better, dribble or completely shut off, I'm just letting you know what this one does. It seems to be as well made as my original head, although I can't say much about long-term use, we've only used it in the shower about 20 times. I think it's made well enough to last a while if taken care of. I brought it to my house and am trying it out there as well. I screwed this nozzle onto my existing shower hose at home and got a spray where it was convenient to shower. I then unscrewed this head from the hose without even changing the faucet setting and screwed my old shower head back on. it just drooled out of my old head, no pressure at all. I screwed the PIH nozzle back on and had a pleasant shower jet. It really reduces water usage more than any other jet I've ever used and provides a comfortable shower with much lower water pressure. In the end my whole family is very happy with this head and I plan on ordering another one if I ever need it. If you are looking for more pressure and/or longer hot water time for your RV or even your home, I recommend trying this shower head. Update: We have just returned from a 2 week 4000 mile holiday in our RV. We have used this shower head over 50 times during our trip and have had no problems. It still works great, just like the day we bought it. This helped ensure that each of us in our camper could have a 10-15 minute hot shower throughout our absence. We are very happy with this purchase.
