Long, strong and durable

About 2 years ago, when I was in a very large hardware store with a large assortment of tools, I discovered the Tajima razor. This is my cutter for cutting toughened foam, caulk, hardened stone slabs (Denarmor Plus) and any thick material where a short razor blade is a big problem. The Tajima doesn't necessarily replace the more common short-bladed razors; However, it expands cutting possibilities with a spare razor instead of a knife or power tool. Tajima blades last a long time. However, if you overuse the blade, you can simply take your pliers and remove a scored section or two of the blade to leave a 'fresh' sharp cut surface. Recommendation: When wearing safety goggles, removing the overcut portion of the blade will expose a new cutting zone.
