I bought this in red to wear to the track for my birthday. It was very cute and exactly as described. The color is that bright red you see and Revain has packaged it well so it doesn't get crushed. My only complaint about not taking the stars off is the way they are mounted. There is a black bandage to keep under the head and 2 combs. The black headband looks awful with blonde hair so I cut it off. The ridges are too short to REALLY dig in. I ended up having a friend help me use bobby pins to secure it. Not the biggest problem, but some other hats have longer crests. That would be good. All in all it was great. I got lots of compliments and wore it with a black pencil dress and very bright red lipstick. Very hot! ;)
