Review on ๐Ÿ”ฎ Enhance Your Space with the Hunter Sentinel Indoor Ceiling Fan: LED Light & Remote, 52-inch, Brushed Nickel by Steve Whited

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent fan, minor complaints

I bought this fan for my living room and was quite impressed with its quality, functionality and style. I had small problems. For the first month but I installed it the light dimmed randomly and then came back about every 15 minutes. Since then I haven't had this problem anymore. I'm not sure if it was a problem with the controller, with the receiver, or with my lightbulbs. The second problem I have is that the remote control is ugly! It's brown and doesn't match anything on the fan. I really wish they would make this remote control black. The third problem is the glass cover for the lanterns. Because of the color of the glass, it will change the color of whatever light you put in there. I would say the best description is that it just dims the lights. I'm a fan of 4K light (daylight) and this seems to detract from its value. On the positive side it's very quiet, universal remote controls or wall controls can be programmed with it, one of the few fans with a greyish blade, very modern, no frills, right out of the box the fan looks well balanced, the design seems at the highest level, you can program more than one remote control, the blades are reversible. Overall I would give this fan a 9 out of 10. And by the way, it's just the price that worries me the most, I think this fan should be in the $140-$150 range.

Pros
  • are clearly too stupid even for the old one
