I love to cook and I do it for my dog. So I cut and chop a lot of food. My observations: 1. They suit me.2. They get dirty really fast.3. You will be perfectly washed in the car, only in the air.4. I've found that putting on a pair of gloves, latex, etc., multiplies their use. You stay dry (uh) b. You stay clean(er)5. They make it easier to eat, for example, cooked chicken breasts that need to be shredded and a sense of security. They make mixing dog food, chicken, pasta, veggies, vitamins, etc. much more enjoyable when you mix it by hand. It's now much safer to reach into the oven or toaster to slice or flip something. Switch to oven mitts to remove the hot pan, they do NOT protect either. I haven't cut my finger, my hand on an insanely sharp chopper, since I've had it. Don't use them often without covering them with rubber gloves, but I use them every day.
