No complaints, I recommend to buy.

The main features of this laptop is its price and dimensions. But to get these features, I had to sacrifice a lot. The device is not without flaws, but here is the case when "top for your money." If you want a more powerful video card, longer battery life, or more cool stuff, like 3-color keyboard backlighting or a better calibrated screen, then you need to throw in 10-15 thousand and seek your luck with other models. I purchased this laptop for 70890 and at that time there was simply no cheaper option for a laptop with a discrete graphics card. Rolling Windows is not a problem at all. You will not find a cheaper option on the market with at least an adequate set of characteristics. For graphic designers and programmers, this device will not work, since the screen and battery are rather mediocre, but if you need a machine that will allow you to print, run serious toys (albeit on low graphics in some titles) for relatively little money, this is your choice.

Pros
  • 1) Price. This unit without OS has one of the lowest prices for laptops with a discrete graphics card. For this, of course, you have to pay, as will be discussed in the shortcomings. 2) Installed hardware. For its price, the MSI GF63 has quite good hardware, which is quite appropriate for an entry-level gaming laptop. You should not expect miracles from the device in terms of performance, but YouTube is full of videos showing laptop tests in various serious games, and it proved to be quite worthy. In my experience, the laptop allows you to run tanks on ultras, but I don’t need such quality. 3) Memory configuration. This model has 16 GB of RAM (8 GB on each of the slots), which at the present time is sufficient for everyday and some gaming tasks. Thus, there is no need to buy more RAM. And the manufacturer left the possibility to expand the memory permanently thanks to the second slot, so we are not limited to 512 GB SSD. 4) Quiet and pleasant key travel. Printing is quite pleasant and comfortable. 5) Weight. One of the chips of this laptop (in the name thin = thin) is its weight and dimensions. It is quite light (less than 2 kg) and it is convenient to move around the city with it. However, this plus may not be significant for everyone, since in order to achieve small dimensions, many had to be sacrificed, which will be reflected in the shortcomings. 6) The minimum required list of drivers from the manufacturer is already included in the kit, the main thing is not to delete the partition with the driver archive when installing Windows. There is no need to immediately run to the MSI website and look for the right drivers to download. A trifle, but nice. 7) Stereo sound. Most likely not everyone will agree with me, but, in my opinion, stereo is always better than mono sound.
Cons
  • 1) TGP. To reduce the cost of the laptop, the graphics card was cut from 80W to 40W, so it costs significantly less than other RTX 3050 laptops. 2) Marky Corps. The case of the laptop perfectly collects prints, both on the lid and next to the touchpad at the location of the palms when typing, the aesthetic appearance deteriorates 3) Unusual keyboard layout. The laptop does not have a numlock block, thereby increasing the size of the keys, which is why when switching from a traditional keyboard, due to the habit of touch typing, you press the wrong keys, you have to get used to it 4) Personally, my minus, which applies to many msi laptops of the GF series, is that the screen brightness, key backlight, volume are adjusted only with the fn key. Why not make them separate keys, as in other laptops, I don't know. It is impossible to make the fn button permanently active through the standard BIOS, you have to put up with it. 5) Cooling system. The laptop has only 1 fan, which, as many have noted, is not enough for the installed hardware. Together with a small diffuser between the table surface and the bottom of the laptop, this leads to a rapid heating of the laptop under load. Of the heavy games, I only tried tanks at medium settings, the temperature quickly rose to 60 degrees in the WASD area, and quite noticeably. It is also worth noting that if the outlet is located behind the laptop, then the charging wire will block the ventilation holes, thereby heating the charging wire. 6) Autonomy. Without charging with surfing the Internet, the laptop lasts about 2-3 hours maximum, with power saving modes turned on. 7) Average sound quality through the built-in speakers.
