GENERAL: Well made, very thick and warm. I don't think they will go with most shoes unless you bought them with thick socks. They don't work in my kids' everyday shoes, but they do in their winter and rain boots. SIZE: I bought a large for my two kids. One is a size 11 and the other is a size 13. With the heel in the right place, they fit my youngest just right. They fit my eldest perfectly. According to the packaging, the big one should hold 3-6. Unless they mean 3-6 years, which would be odd, I have doubts about the upper limit of that range. If you're looking for durability you might want to go up a size and if your child is a size 12 or larger I would recommend ordering a large.
