Great boots that fit. Previously only used dog boots due to paw injury. This model has a good durable sole for walking. I have a 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who is very active. Runs miles very fast. Put on 1 shoe as soon as he arrives. Replaces numerous rolls of veterinary dressing and sports tape. The only downside is that they are not waterproof at all. Reason why only 4 stars. The grass was wet and after a few minutes the boot was soaked inside and out. Drenched after half an hour of running. Now 3 shoes fell off in 15 minutes because they got wet from the grass. The boot gets heavy when it gets wet. Otherwise happy with the fit. I have XLarge. He has 3 inch paws. I'll take one of them to the first aid kit. Velcro managed to wrap 2 times to secure the boot. He has very thin legs. great for less active dogs. Update: no matter how tight I think I get the boots, they now flip on the paw. I wrote the 1st review after a few hours of use. They're better off dry than wet and on a dog it doesn't work as much or as quickly.
