Solid wall mount option for computer monitors or small TVs

I use this to wall mount a 23 inch computer monitor. He's perfect for this job. degrees down and 5 degrees up. It would be nice if the upward tilt was also 15 degrees. A small but important detail but not enough to call out a star as the description and photos are good. You know what you are buying. Although this bracket does not swivel left/right, it is made of fairly thick metal, strong and durable to fit into the corresponding groove on the wall. That holds the weight. It's safe as long as you don't hit/lift the monitor. What holds the two pieces of the bracket together is a small screw that is very difficult to install once you've put the two pieces together. You'll need a very long magnetic-tipped screwdriver to hold the screw in place. You cannot put your hand back in to insert the screw by hand. In my case, the computer monitor is hanging on the wall above a shelf, so it doesn't matter that I don't have a screw. Joining the two parts of the mount holds the weight. The screw simply prevents the monitor part from detaching from the wall part. Large wall mounts for large TVs sometimes have a spring-loaded pin with an attached cord holding the two pieces together, and you can reach under or behind the TV to pull the pin and release the mount. This little inexpensive mount has none of that. I have to mark a star because I can't attach the two pieces together. Bottom line, this is a very powerful little mount. Just be aware that you're unlikely to be able to attach the two pieces together. As long as the monitor you're wall-mounting doesn't hit or hit hard, you're fine.
