Review on Metra 99-8209 Scion 04-Up Dashkit: Enhance Your Scion's Interior with this Premium Installation Kit by Aaron Guy

I've already experienced 2 of these and simply rejected plastic in the end. I'll probably break down and buy another one, but not for a while. It fits perfectly as they say which is really good (I have a 2005 xb) but the plastic mounts will break over time if there is too much vibration. dirt road or accidental collision with too many traffic cones at night. It goes with the xA, xB and Tc because it has tear off tabs for each car, meaning those tabs that hold your stereo in place are meant to be ripped off when you don't need them. Warning: If these tabs are torn off, small dogs and possibly children can choke on them. Larger dogs don't seem to have a problem, so don't worry. The tabs work, but again, they're designed to come loose. So try not to strain them or stick them back, it won't work. Overall the product worked well for the first few months but I'm not entirely happy with the customer but it's plastic so what should I expect? I give 4 stars and hope nobody has problems. Tip: Avoid bumps in the road - in this case the plastic can break.
