With the onset of cold, the aquagym classes are moved to the indoor pool. I needed a pair of shoes as the indoor pool floor is slippery. Due to foot problems I needed something with a firm sole and good grip. They are perfect for that. I love shoes! They are durable enough to be worn outside of the pool - they can be used for light hiking where water might be or for things like kayaking etc. They are NOT intended for serious hiking! In this case, the laces will NOT stay tied. . I even double and triple knotted them and they still came undone. I had to stop at least twice in each class to get dressed (and the class is only 50 minutes!). If you do a little digging, most lace-up water shoes come with a lace-up closure. This is not. The manufacturer should consider adding switches in the next update of this shoe. They are very cheap and shouldn't affect the price. UODATE: Shoelaces do NOT stay tied in water. I ended up buying some slip-lock elastic laces to replace the ones that came with the shoes. Bottom left. Purple color goes well.
