Review on Rode NT5-MP: Exceptional Compact Cardioid Condenser Microphones - Perfectly Matched Pair by Seth Hogate

I have never received any financial incentives associated with Revain reviews. No freebies, discounts, etc. Great results for DLSR videos with music (solo flute, drums, jazz band, and symphony). A matched stereo pair of these mics gave me much better results than a single, much better (more expensive) mic. Very low noise and rich sound when using the TASCAM DR-701D multi-channel digital recorder connected to a Nikon D750 1543 24.3 MP DSLR. 3.2" 50mm f/1.4 TFT-LCD lens body (black). Even directly into the camera, the sound is significantly better than through the camera or through the Tascam DR-40. (For video-only use, consider a Consider cheaper mic pres like the JuicedLink Riggy-Assist dual XLR preamp with phantom power and meter.)
