I got this cooling pad because I play a lot of games on the go and my little car gets really hot on my lap! The fan works great. I use noise canceling headphones so the second speed doesn't bother me, but the first speed is great when others are around or sleeping. I bought one of those cooling pads from them for $20, it worked for 2 days and then stopped working. No refund at DOA. I'm so glad I only paid $20 for this.
