Review on πŸ’¨ Enhanced Logitech N200 Cooling Pad with USB-Powered 2-Speed Fan by Brian Summers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Of the three I've tried,

. So over the years I have bought and tried 3 different cooling pads. It's by far the quietest and most efficient of the three. With a two-speed low-speed fan, the LogiTech N200 runs quieter than a whisper and keeps my MBP cool. Other pads I've tried have been able to keep it from overheating, but this one actually feels cool. That's right - with this and your laptop charging, the laptop will be colder than when the charger was plugged in. A higher fan speed is good if I've done something stupid like using the MBP by placing it on a bed or other surface that blocks the MBP's vents. Even when my MBP gets that hot - and it's painfully hot - it cools down quickly the moment I think about plugging in the cooling pad. The higher fan speed produces noticeable noise, but even that is less noise than the cooling pad, which I ended up replacing with this one. And my MBP doesn't get hot when put on this pad even when the fan is off and the MBP is charging. My 15" MBP sits firmly on this pillow. Others have not. The padded base allows me to use the laptop comfortably on my lap. I couldn't ask for more!

Pros
  • is the most worthy of being called a cooling pad. Acceptable.
Cons
  • . Could have been a newer model.
