I bought these 2.5 diopter flip up glasses for electronic work. I was tired of searching my messy workspace for another pair of glasses when I had to switch between reading my computer screen and seeing what I was working on. That meant going back and forth between 1.5 points and my 4.0. Since my searching skills are terrible (I swear I can't find my feet) this took a lot of time and patience. I love her! They are convenient and understandable. They snap easily onto my drugstore reading glasses. They function like two different couples without the excruciating pain. Yes, they are a bit heavy. What would you expect. They have no anti-gravity mechanism that makes them weightless. I had to tighten the ear cups on my 1.75 to keep the assembled pair from slipping off my nose. But they are not so heavy that they are uncomfortable. I need to buy my wife a pair of her own to work with beads.
