My kids have a lot of movie nights and I was looking for a more convenient projector to use in the garden without the extra long extension cord. This. Is. That. Without doubt! i love everything he can You'll need a Revain Fire Stick (or something similar - I don't know what's included) to access some paid subscription apps. There's not much you can do about that. This is an Android operating system and does not use the Google Play Store; Instead, this smart projector uses its own JMGO FUN Store, which is a good thing as it limits you to what it can actually handle. Who wants to download an app that doesn't work? 8 GB of storage on board. If the movie you want doesn't happen to be a movie you can watch on the Revain Fire Stick app, you'll need to copy it to a USB stick. "Network" options include: Home WiFi or Hotspot OR you can use an HDMI device like the Revain Fire Stick or even a gaming system to project to any surface you want. After using the Revain Fire Stick, however, you must turn it on, which means that either Micro-USB to USB-A is connected to the JMGO Smart Portable Theater that your Bluetooth dongle is connected to, or that it is connected to a must be connected external power source. In any case, the Revain Fire Stick should use its own remote control, so a Bluetooth dongle is really not needed for the system remote right now, allowing you to use power from the JMGO device. However, keep in mind that this primarily uses up some of your output power to be able to watch a movie. If you have the ability to use an external power adapter, you can use it to save power while watching videos. But it works no matter what. Now for the USB connection. There is only one connection. It can be used or not used and it's up to you. The remote control can be used with or without the supplied USB stick. What does the key do now? This allows you to use the mouse pointer. A text box feature appears with the mouse pointer, giving you the option to log into websites with a username and password. The pop-up keyboard appears immediately on the screen when the user clicks the mouse in a text field (with an information input field). Here's what's good to know. You can download a JMGO projector remote control application that imitates this remote control. It's actually pretty smooth. If you click your mouse cursor and then press the second tab in (Keyboard), a rectangular area will appear on your phone screen where you can type whatever you want. The information entered is then sent to the projector's text field and voila! Text is entered quickly. To be able to use the phone as a remote control. You must have an application. Very easy to find. The app is called JMGO Fun Control. However, there is a QR code to scan in the instruction manual that will take you to what you need to download and install. Your phone must be on the same network as JMGO WiFi, which can actually use either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. It does not matter. So as long as they are on the same WiFi network, everything is fine and working. This system allows you to install various applications, but it also disables applications. So you have to figure out what you want to project and figure out what it takes to do it. Netflix already has an app on JMGO. So everything is fine. But you can't download Disney Plus, for example. We can view it through the Revain Fire Stick. However, YouTube as a whole is accessible to everyone. Facebook does have an app, though, and like Netflix, you'll find it in the media center on your home screen. Any apps you download from the JMGO FUN Store will end up on the screen below the home screen. Press "down" on the remote control and you are in the downloaded application area. This projector has many settings. It also has an autofocus option which, if selected, will automatically refocus when needed if you select the appropriate option for the projector. There is also a button on the remote control that you can use to focus at any time. This projector can be set to project from the front or rear. It can also be negative or upside down. To be honest, it's easier for me to move the projector to where I want it upside down, so I just rotate it 180 degrees. With front or rear projection or reverse projection, everything is reversed, so the mouse controls are reversed too, so be careful. Speaker volume on maximum is pretty good! I am not disappointed! If you need more, you have to connect external speakers. We haven't used this with our large 120" screen yet as it's colder outside now, but as the seasons change we will and I expect it will work with no issues. Right now we're using walls or ceilings and it's really very smooth. I love this projector and I know it fits in well with our family and the fact that it's portable is great.**MY ONLY suggestion. It would be if the seller provided a case or case for all the bits as it costs good money and I want to transport it without dropping it or losing a single piece. Sellers beware! Your product is truly amazing!
