I recently had to have my iPad Pro 10.5 replaced under warranty which had an Anker screen protector on it. Main differences I could see between them. Tech Armor covers the front camera and is less thick around the home button - I think that's because that hole is a bit larger, making your finger or thumb more comfortable for Touch ID. Seems maybe a millimeter or two more so depending on the case there could be a problem. I have mine in a rugged case, had no problems. The beauty of the front camera cover is that you have less to worry about when installing it. Installation was fine. They give you suction cups to hold it in place but prefer to use painters tape to create a loop first, line the whole thing up and then remove the lid to stick it on. If you let the plastic covering the adhesive touch the screen, you will need to wipe the screen again and inspect the surface. The key to a proper installation is a very clean and dust free surface with good bright lighting. I found the supplied cleaning cloth okay, but you really had to polish it with the supplied microfiber cloth. I prefer cleaning twice. Once with my own lens cleaner to remove any finger oils, then use a tech armor cleaner. You need to be in a dust-free place, the slightest speck of dirt will show through - so prepare the place, clean it, don't blow fans or vents, etc. Slightly lift the edge of the screen and use the included dust stickers to catch it Dust - Do not touch the bottom with your finger. The brilliance, clarity and feel remain the same. I use an Apple Pencil to take notes, so I like the smooth, fast surface that hides fingerprints. More glare than a basic iPad standard screen. If glare bothers you and you want good protection that doesn't darken the image or reduce glare, then your only choice is ArmorGlas, made for pilots, which costs $50. Since I mostly use indoors in low light, it wasn't worth the extra money. In terms of durability, I haven't had any issues or scratches with the case in over 8 months of using the anchor and a few bumps. As for engineering armor, time will tell. Considering Apple's new iPad Pro 10.5 screen costs $449, these screen protectors are a must-have. Also note that not many places will fix it much cheaper, the best I've seen was $379 online. Overall I like it better than the Anker as there is no camera hole and the home button feels better. Taking a star off because I haven't seen how well it resists scratches, cracks, glare and overall durability.
