Bought to replace a burned out 40w lightbulb in my fridge. PROS: Runs cool, very compact (Incandescent bulbs are actually a little shorter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced. They look a lot more like a traditional incandescent bulb; no high plastic neck or semi-dome to emit light through. CONS: One incandescent bulb had internal Scratches on the matte finish This pair of lamps **NOT** have the same color temperature Daylight/cool white color is 5000K The other is noticeably warmer/redder, in the range of 3000-4000K These factors indicate a serious defect to quality control in the factory The light is all still very pleasant (maybe the mixture is right?) Still better than darkness and with 10 watts instead of 80 watts.
