This pizza peel has a few nice features: The high quality stainless steel metal finish will probably last forever. handle material appears to be bamboo; it is nicely contoured and feels solid. The only problem with the grip is the locking clip, that little metal clip labeled "T-Engine" just won't stay in the locked position. Now this is not a problem and there are ways to keep this locking clip locked so it doesn't slide back and unlock the handle during use. That little padlock clip is the only real problem with the shell. Just make sure that clip doesn't slip back or the handle flips into the storage position. The rind is made of thick stainless steel and is therefore slightly heavier than a comparably sized aluminum rind. So pay attention to this difference in weight. There aren't many options for stainless steel, and if you understand the issue with the handle clip and can bear installing something to keep that clip from unlatching during use, I've only given it three stars.
