Of course this is a five star product but in all honesty the cold leaves it so quickly there's practically no point in freezing it. In less than three minutes, it becomes lukewarm from the friction of turning the roller and the warmth of your skin. However, it works *brilliantly* for those tight, horrible tendons in your neck that get stiff when you stare at a screen or work at your desk for too long. If you're massaging them with your hands, there's always a chance that you'll be applying too much pressure and doing more harm than good, but this tool takes the guesswork out: the larger roller's weight and size are EXACTLY right to gauge the tension in these tendons without hurting or hurting you. I suffer from nighttime bruxism so bad my cheeks tremble when I smile and the smaller roller is just what I need to take some of that horrible tightness off my face and give me some relief. All in all, don't count on it. Stay cold past the two minute mark, but everything else? A+. Quality craftsmanship, beautiful to look at, arrives in beautiful packaging: an all round quality purchase.
