Car Wash is a solid foaming cleaning solution that cleans my ceramic coated car very well. I didn't use the foam gun but it still had enough foam to get the job done and do it well. Now for the soap's claimed "hydrophobic" properties, it seems to work pretty well, but then again, I covered my car in ceramic. less than 3 months ago and it still retains the original hydrophobic properties it had on day one. I imagine this would improve the gloss and water repellency of a non-ceramic car, at least temporarily. All in all a solid car shampoo and I would recommend it.
