I was totally impressed with the noise canceling. I was looking for over the ear headphones to use while cutting and trimming my lawn. These fit the bill. I can barley hear my gas powered string trimmer with the volume at a respective level (2/3). My lawn tractor with is very loud 3 blade 52" cutI can still hear the music well over the noise at the same volume level. I did get these headphone for a great low price so for me they are well wort it. I've hit tree limbs with these headphones and had branched almost knock them off so they seem fairly durable. I did purchase some ear piece covers to minimize dust and sweat on them. Comfort is subjective but after 2 hours of lawn maintenance my ear lobes are beginning to ache so I'm not sure if I can wear these all day.
