I use Sechem Reef Fusion 1 and 2 for calcium and alkaline dosing in my reef tank. Although the dosage was quite high, it works well. The recommended dose is approximately 1 ml per 20 gallons. I use twice as much and finally get the values where they should be. It had little to no effect on my magnesium levels, which is why I also add Sechem Reef Advantage Magnesium to my aquarium. Again, I was amazed at how much it takes to slightly increase magnesium levels. For example, I increase the Magnum from 1200ppm to 1375ppm, my 120 gallon system takes almost a pound. This is very much! Reef Fusion 1 requires 165ml to increase calcium levels from 390ml to 425ml. Again, this is much more than I expected. So buying a Reef Fusion in that gallon size makes sense. You can find a handy Seachem Dose Calculator if you google for JDieck Reef Chemistry Calculator FV.
