Love the look, quality and size, durable

I've been looking everywhere for these baskets. Cool looking things. The latches to hold it to my bike rack are a little clunky but they do the job well. I have a bike rack from ? Manufacturer and basket fit perfectly. The fabric is dense, light. It was necessary to carry my groceries, my work gear, or my weather gear. Whether they keep everything dry remains to be seen. I don't doubt the fabric, just the slits around the top flap. I think if I have a rainy day I'll probably use plastic bags for my gear and see if the insides of the baskets get wet when I get to work. No problem when my heels touch the pockets of my mid-size commuter bike with 26" wheels. This is the same function of the rack as everything else. The center of my bike rack is slightly behind the rear axle. Update: I have owned these bags for several hundred kilometers now. They work great. I'm still holding back the rain I'm used to using it as an office bag even when I'm on my way to work. I carry my lunch, gadgets etc. The bag is definitely cloth, doesn't hold its shape well but it doesn't matter to me. Update: two years and two thousand miles later. I am still working. No problems with tears, seams or snaps. If you're carrying something expensive in the rain, pack it in a double bag (like a laptop or tablet). I had a fall after a heavy downpour where some of the rain got inside and formed a little puddle. Thus, the puddle does not flow out. They're a little limp, but I don't care. I call them panniers.
