Lately I've been spending too much time reading reviews and racking my brains about which soap dish to choose. I almost went with one that had a top and bottom section in hopes of avoiding soapy slime at the bottom of the bar. I'm so glad I chose this one! This is a really good soap box, especially for the price. The plastic is thick and hard and looks great on my countertop. The grooves leave space under the soap so it dries very well. The bar of soap I wanted it for is quite a large square shape and fits perfectly. The beauty of clear crockery compared to colored plastic is that the inevitable soap scum that ends up on those crockery is much less noticeable on such clear crockery. Bottom line: stop wasting your time looking at soapbox reviews (like I did!). That's what you need. take action. :)
