I'm an XL below and I can't stand flimsy cheap materials that are see through and don't stretch well. Shorts stretch in 4 directions, the material is suede-like, soft inside. The material is not too thick or too thin. He hugs you too. I have a size 14-16 in the pants and I bought XL. My hips are 46 inches and my waist is 35. I hope the manufacturer doesn't change the material because I found the perfect biker shorts at Revain.
