Fine, soft wool in a beautiful color
I used this fiber for wet felting. I wasn't sure what this type of colored roving looked like when laid out for felting, but I liked the colors so I decided to experiment. The roving was mostly in groups of single colors so you can see in the pattern how it is laid. In general it was workable, but it was a bit frustrating when drawing several times because the colored areas separated a bit and the drawing wasn't smooth. I made a hat that is in the photo and in general I like the result. I don't know if I would buy this specific type of colored patterned roving for most wet felting projects,
