Bought to replace an original lightbulb in an old MagLite. Was nowhere near as bright as the tried and tested original lightbulb. Also more often than not when the flashlight is on the "bulb" barely lights up (or not at all) you have to twist the top of the flashlight back and forth several times to get it in the right spot to glow Never had a problem with one different lamp, too unreliable now Should have invested the money paid for this disappointment in a newer flashlight Unfortunately I have to say that my old beefy MagLite is doomed to graze :o(
