I just bought my Mac (btw I had to study a lot to figure out how to use it having only had a PC) and wanted to find some great hardware to protect it. This item is one of the few kits I've found that has an all-in-one, and it's a decent price (the case at Best Buy alone is over $40). The cases don't restrict my screen's movement, and the cases fit so I can remove them without worrying about damaging my Mac. Even with the lid closed, the laptop still looks attractive. The laptop sleeve is a little tight with laptop sleeves, but it still fits and I stash my bluetooth mouse, charger and some stationery in the front zip. Also, it arrived two days earlier than expected.
