My son LOVES these gloves (wife and daughter love wearing them too!) They are super soft on the inside and keep hands warm My 9 year old son asked for gloves for cold weather . which are not as bulky as his ski gloves, which can be worn at school and around town. It was exactly what he wanted. I wish they were my size. Of course, they're not meant for playing in the snow, but they can be carried around.
