10 Years of Love - Computers and Accessories

I switched to the KB600 this year after a cat knocked over a cup of coffee in the KB500. The KB500 didn't have a Cherry ml switch in the function keys. For me it's number 3. I've used the first two keyboards for 20,000 hours, yes, over 10 years. I warn you that the plastic underneath the kb500's palm rests is smooth after 4 years. This year I upgraded to the KB600 after a cat knocked over a cup of coffee in the KB500. The KB500 didn't have a Cherry ml switch in the function keys. The upgrade was worth it for that alone. KB500 worked fine up until Windows 7. Kinesis had a crappy USB hub and PS2 to KB500 converter that didn't work with Windows 7. They had a $25 solution but I had to do the work. I replaced the cable for PS2 with USB and my own hub. Nice to have a mouse adapter in the keyboard. Note: I will be adding a USB hub to the KB600. As a side note, I've washed and cleaned the switches and all 3 keyboards are still in use. Kinesis: please add a bunch of keys near 6xn and 5tgb and please add bluetooth support.
