From a technical point of view, the words most relevant to the quality of the sheet are: #1 Egyptian cotton, #2 long-staple cotton. "Percale" and "Satin" are a fabric choice (clear or satin), not a mark of quality. The number of threads is less important than you think; it became hyperventilated arrogance with a clear downside. 1500 thread sheets use very, very fine yarn; Do you think this may affect color fastness and durability? They are "Extra-Long-Staple" and "Sateen", so very high quality and very smooth. The fabric is beautiful, dense; but I wouldn't call it "thick" or "heavy".
