Unlike many other similar sandals, here each sandal is a monolithic plastic product. This is important because sandals usually consist of two parts: the sole and the upper (strap), and over time they wear out and tear at the point where the strap is glued to the sole. The sandals are very easy to care for and have a nice design, including moderate arch support, which made my purchase decision.
