Review on Dorman 902-033 Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Assembly: OE FIX for Chevrolet Models - Optimize Performance and Reliability by Daniel Ton

Poor workmanship

This would be perfect if the finish was up to standards. The hose connecting the thermostat to the throttle body has the smallest seam where I assume they are welded. We make a leak. No, the leak is not coming from the hose. If you look at the hose you can see that it is pouring out of the seams of the pipe. Part was fitted and all work done just to get to this problem. What an extreme waste of time and money. Find a sealer that will ban him for now. Beware of going this route.

Pros
  • Complete overhaul - comes with thermostat housing, sensor, thermostat, gasket and o-ring
Cons
  • Big and bulky
