I really like this lipstick now that I have developed my application technique. I apply a fairly thick layer to clean, dry lips. I wait a few seconds, then take a clean handkerchief and gently place it on my lips, pressing lightly and peeling it off. Excess lipstick glides off the napkin, leaving the perfect amount on the lips. The cloth method also helps the lipstick adhere more firmly to my lips, which minimizes chipping. I wait a few minutes for the base coat to dry completely, then use the CG top coat (the one in the white tube) instead of the one that comes with it, which I find too sticky. With this application, the lipstick lasts all day and looks fresh and natural. Update the tip regularly throughout the day. At the end of the day, I just wash it off with lipstick remover, which comes in a black tube and is made by a drugstore brand that starts with the letter M.
