Most bottles will not fit and allow you to unscrew the cap.
I don't know why this gets such high marks. Most of my wines don't fit if you want to attach the top. almost no sparkling wine/prosecco. Most standard 750ml rose/potato leaf/cabin bottles will not fit. The neck is too high. Many pinot noirs are too thick at the bottom to fit inside. For the price this is a disappointment.
