Good quality for the price

These rock lamps are pretty good for $80, especially considering there are others that sell for $200 and up. They drew me in because of the RGBW capability where unlike other stone lights on Amazon there are four LED chips that are red, blue, green and also white. This optional white chip is true white and does not produce a rainbow effect for RGB lights only. Another feature that drew me in was that there were two LEDs on each pod, which is essentially two pods per wheel and gives a much brighter light. Although they don't have Bluetooth functionality, the design is superior even to their cheaper Bluetooth version. Cons: All wires don't need to be about 10ft long as I mount my ECU in the engine bay next to the battery, the pods up front especially the ones closest to the battery had a lot of extra wiring which created unnecessary clutter during installation and you can don't just cut it and crimp it to a shorter length as it is RGB backlit. While I haven't had any connection issues as I work with motors on a regular basis, there seems to be some confusion with the 12V DC wire and the 12V auxiliary wire. The wiring that comes right out of the box is extra wiring and it should be connected to the ignition source, which means the lights will only work when the key is in the ignition. I just connected my two 12v wires directly to the battery using the built in fuse. This allows me to turn on the light even when my truck is off / the key is in the ignition. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the pods. as well as the ease of installation and the fact that everything needed for a proper installation is included in the package. While the headlights appear to be of good quality and very bright only time will tell if they will last or not.
