Banners broke 2 days after being hung up

I placed these banners outside on the front of my house. I placed these on hooks that are in my siding with the ribbon that is attached to the poles inserted in the top of the banners. There are two metal grommets on the ends of the banners that you can use to tie the banners in place to keep them from flapping around. We used some white rope and attached these to ground stakes to keep the banners straight against the house. These looked great when we first put them up. I was really happy with them. However 2 days later one of the banners was found hanging off the side of the house. The banner had ripped clean off the wooden dowel that is inserted in the top of the banner.Honestly this could be easily fixed. I could glue it, or staple it back round the rod, but I shouldn't have to do that. It should be made better to withstand being outside for longer than 2 days.so i guess if you purchase these, think about whether you want to take the chance of them being outside or not.

Pros
  • The dolls tend to fall out so we had to use magnets to hang them. Otherwise these are great decorations!
Cons
  • The figurines in the scenes may be too small, making it difficult to see the intricate design
