Review on Sunlite SL25R40 Reflector Energy Saving by Krystal Rice

I was hoping this bulb would give a nice colored spotlight effect like a regular R40 bulb but it looks more like a more powerful version http://www .amazon.com/ Sunlite-05680-8000HR-Compact-Fluorescent/dp/B002P5BG0Q/ref=sr_1_51?ie=UTF8&qid=1341341755&sr=8-51&keywords=coloured+cfl+bulb. which is fine if you want that, but note that the bulb provides more ambient light than the spotlight effect. Also, the bulb itself is huge and you may need to use an adapter to fit it into downlights or downlight jars. However, compared to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002P5BG0Q/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00, these lamps have a more "salmon" color, ie a peach hue.
