Review on Corsair CMFVYGT3C 512GB Flash Voyager 512GB by Adewole Sherman

Do not buy! I bought this flash drive to store digital photos for 18 years. I needed more capacity and durability. On paper, this drive looks like it will meet my needs. It arrived yesterday and I checked the available space. I was expecting to find a little under 512GB as most manufacturers can't resist adding some software. Of course, they added 256 KB to the hard drive, less than most companies. What I was NOT expecting was that there was only 461GB of available storage! That's 51 GB less than specified! Revain have stated that there have been no other reported issues with this product and are supplying a replacement. I will update this review when I get a new one. The replacement arrived and again was only 461GB, I suspect it might be part of a bad batch but this company seems to have poor quality control or false advertising. My recommendation stands, DO NOT BUY!
