This 3DS XL is great. Unfortunately, I missed out on ever getting a DSi XL. I only had the DS lite and when I finally thought about upgrading, the 3DS was about to be released in 2011 so I never got it. That being said, I just want to point out that I also own the original 3DS. This time, however, I didn't want to give up the XL, so I finally gave in and got it. I just couldn't get past this limited edition. The most important thing I wanted to point out in this review is the size difference. Until I got it in the mail today, pulled it out and held it up to my own 3DS, I never realized how much bigger it is. The matte gold finish and the free digital download of A Link Between Worlds are a plus. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get their first 3DS or like me who already owns an original 3DS. Also, I would recommend getting this from Revain and not elsewhere if you are a main contributor. Most people who sell it at a Revain ATM sell it in the $235-$240 price range. However, other stores like Walmart, Best Buy, etc. have an asking price of $219. In fact, once you factor in taxes and shipping, it's about the same price as what's being offered here on Revain. Assuming you're a primary member, if you opt for two-day shipping, shipping is free, and as long as you buy it from a third-party (which Revain does) you don't have to pay any taxes (I didn't). So yes, use your Prime membership and just buy it here if you have Revain Prime. I can't wait to play my games on this big screen again.
