Review on πŸ“½οΈ Enhance Visual Presentations with the InFocus IN26 DLP Projector by Michael Schafer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No component video means no HD

Although it clearly says it supports component video. it is not. At least not without a hard-to-find adapter that converts the component signal to a VGA (VESA) connector. This is an extremely unfortunate oversight and it's disappointing that they couldn't just put an adapter in the box. So I have no idea until InFocus sends me an adapter as to the quality of this projector. You'd think that a projector that makes such a big difference in HD display would have a standard HD connection like HDMI or component video jacks. I assume that once I have the adapter, the projector will display an HD signal as advertised. Note to Revain: please change the description to say it has a COMPOSITE video input, not a COMPONENT input. EDITED REVIEW: I'm giving this one a ONE star now. The lamp died after less than 90 minutes of use so I am returning it complete for a refund. I have no idea what HD looks like because the lamp died before the HD adapter arrived. Extremely disappointed with InFocus and this projector.
