Review on LG 27UP850-W: Borderless, HDR Display with Height & Pivot Adjustment, Anti-Glare Coating by David Coon

A decent monitor for the price. Used for photo and video editing. No reference monitor, but.

I like the I/O flexibility. I connected this to my M1 MacBook Air via USB-C. This connects a monitor AND a power adapter/charger for a computer. And on the back there are a couple of USB 3.1 A ports, one of which I connect my old Apple Extended Keyboard to. I use another for a slow regular 3TB USB drive. The monitor also has two HDMI inputs and one Displayport input. I'm not sure when I'll need them, but they're nice to have. The monitor is well calibrated. The image appears very similar to an LG monitor in a MacBook Air when both are calibrated to the same numerical targets using a Datacolor SpyderXElite. I also bought a CharJen Pro Ultimate Dock Gen 2 which gives me SDXC. 4.0, SDXC 4.0 micro card reader, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, 10/100/1000 Gbps Ethernet, HDMI, 1/8" stereo output and input for laptop charger. I will mainly use on the go and connect a fast samsung t7 ssd for backup and extra storage my macbook air power adapter stays in my bag always ready to go this is a great little setup i have a good desktop monitor for serious editing and i can use my laptop anywhere , This is a versatile and powerful setup 95% DCI-P3 colors are good Adobe RGB would be better but I don't need it for what I do.
