Review on Black White Color Charcoal Pencils by Barbara Simmons

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You suck. Doesn't even sharpen to a blunt end. Crumble.

My true rating is 1 star. I'll explain later in my review why I gave it 3 stars. i hated her You are a waste of money. Every time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I tried to sharpen them, even if the pigment showed up VERY LITTLE on the wood (I use capital letters to emphasize words, not shout), it broke/crumbled and fell out, before it could even dream of getting a DULL point, let alone a sharp one. pigment in place - it was a pain) which was EXTREMELY wasteful, messy and hurt the muscles in my arms, not to mention time consuming and stressful. I've had black charcoal pencils that never cracked or crumbled like this. Although I must confess that this was my first attempt at using white charcoal pencils. I'm pretty sure they shouldn't do what they do. I think from now on I will only use really opaque white colored pencils or white pastel pencils. Or even white chalk would be even better than that shit. Now for my reason for rating it a 3: I didn't rate it a 1 star just because I know that 1 star and 5 stars are usually done out of either anger or bias. opinions, and are trusted less or not at all. I wanted to make sure I got my point across on how awful those pencils were. Therefore. I just have to look at it as a lesson learned. It was more disappointing than anything. I hope my hard lesson helps someone else: beware those pencils. I treated them the same as other charcoal pencils and they just wouldn't work properly.

Pros
  • Our charcoal pencils are made with the utmost care and attention to ensure they are beautiful and long lasting. The only thing to watch out for is not to drop it - the rod inside can break.
Cons
  • boring packaging
